I had a feeling I would regret choosing "cleaning my room" as the focus of my photo essay, but I planned on phototographing the process of cleaning my room. My room was a total mess and I had been meaning to get around to cleaning it for quite some time. I hate cleaning, but my goal was to use this project as motivation to just get it done and over with. A lot of people have messy rooms like myself and feel daunted by the task of having to clean it up. Perhaps by viewing these photos, I, along with the viewers, will be inspired to clean their rooms as well. Seeing how nice the room looks after it is clean may motivate others to suck it up and just get their cleaning over with as well.
